Brutalist-inspired wall relief by London born artist Ron Hitchins (1928-2019). A truly prolific and gifted outsider artist, who worked in plaster, metal, fibreglass, wood, paint and ink.
The panels on this sculpture are hand formed fibreglass, finished in paint. It dates to the mid-1960s, when Hitchins was arguably at the height of his creative powers. We've included a photo of his hallway at home and a picture of him next to one his sculptures by the Rose Lipman building in Hackney
